On February 29th, the provisional chapter took a proactive step towards encouraging student participation in the democratic process by hosting a voter registration drive on campus. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across the university, with over 30 students taking the opportunity to check their voter registration status and register to vote. Louis DiPede, President of the Provisional Chapter, expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, "We had the opportunity to connect with students from all over campus with a strong voter drive. One strong advantage to our drive was being able to connect with Resident Assistants and get over 30 students to check their voter registration and register to vote." Later that evening, the chapter organized a watch party for the 2024 Free and Fair elections Debate, focusing on showcasing third-party candidates for the upcoming presidential election. The event provided students with an opportunity to engage with diverse political viewpoints and foster discussions on critical issues facing the nation. As stated by Brian Brown, Vice President of Member Development of the Provisional Chapter, "We took a trip to TopGolf where we split brothers into 2 groups which enabled more open conversations. We saw that brothers grew closer together through helping each other with swings, breaking down barriers and getting to know each other on a deeper level."

The Susquehanna Chapter of Phi Mu Delta recently organized and hosted a Fireside Chat exclusively for its members. The event, which aimed to foster open communication and support among brothers, was spearheaded by the chapter's mental Health and Wellness chair, Tom Garrity, and Vice President of Membership, Ben Hornig.
During the Fireside Chat, brothers were encouraged to discuss any issues they were facing in their personal lives, within the chapter, or any other topics they wished to bring up. Nathan McCue, the chapter's VP of Member Development, highlighted the significance of this gathering, stating, "The fireside chat allowed brothers to talk about the issues affecting them inside and outside the fraternity. Giving them a space to be honest and share their feelings and allow others to help them work through those feelings. Brothers shared things bothering them at home, things bothering them in school, and things bothering them within the fraternity." Over 500 runners participated in the event, with distances ranging from 5 to 20 miles, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that brought together running clubs from across Pittsburgh, as well as families and friends.
This year, the event partnered with 412 Food Rescue, a local organization dedicated to combating food insecurity in Pittsburgh, as the beneficiary of the race. Through their involvement in the event, Phi Mu Delta showed their dedication to making a positive impact on their community by supporting a worthy cause. "We are proud to have been a part of the 48th Annual Spring Thaw race and to have supported 412 Food Rescue in their important mission to fight food insecurity in Pittsburgh," said RMU Chapter Vice President of Member Development, Trey Reichenfeld. “We’ve partnered with GCXC Racing in the past and we're excited to help out again for this race. It was inspiring to see the community come together to participate in the race and raise awareness about this critical issue." FROSTBURG, MD - The Mu Omicron Chapter of Phi Mu Delta displayed their commitment to community service by organizing a successful street clean-up in Frostburg, Maryland on February 17, 2024. The chapter, along with partnering student organizations, participated in an initiative to clean designated locations on and around campus, promoting a cleaner and more environmentally friendly community.
During the clean-up event, volunteers armed with trash bags, gloves, and maps diligently picked up litter from the streets, demonstrating their dedication to making a positive difference in the local area.
