Step 1: Notify us of your Interest Step 2: Talk with your campus' Fraternity/Sorority Advisor to better understand your school's policies and procedures for adding a new fraternity to campus. Step 3: If you receive permission to move forward from your school, Phi Mu Delta will work with you to identify a minimum of 25 members to form the new Provisional Chapter. Step 4: Phi Mu Delta will form a Chapter Advisory Board of up to six alumni and Friends of Phi Mu Delta to guide and support the new Provisional Chapter. Step 5: The newly recognized colony will undergo the Provisional Chapter Leadership Retreat, elect new officers and begin the "Leading the Lion Pride" new member orientation program. Step 6: Members who successfully complete the new member orientation program and pay their initiation fees will be initiated into the Fraternity. Step 7: A petition for Chartering will be prepared once the group meets minimum expectation and submits it to the National Council for approval. Step 9: Upon approval by the National Council, the Provisional Chapter will be officially welcomed into Phi Mu Delta as a Chartered Chapter at a ceremony on campus.
