Rutgers University Chapter of Phi Mu Delta Finds Unity and Inspiration on Ski Trip Adventure2/5/2024
The Mu Sigma Chapter of Phi Mu Delta at Rutgers University set off on an exhilarating ski trip to Camelback Mountain over the winter break. This trip presented a unique opportunity for the brothers to bond, reflect on their accomplishments, and set new goals for the upcoming semester.
During their time at Camelback Mountain, members of Mu Sigma engaged in vibrant discussions about the events and triumphs of the past semester. They also took a moment to reflect on the recently released grade averages, further motivating each other to strive for academic excellence. The perfect backdrop of the snowy slopes provided an ideal setting for these meaningful conversations. "I am incredibly grateful to be a part of an organization that allows me to connect with my fraternity brothers on a personal level while enjoying quality time on fun trips like this one,” shared Cameron Jacoby, the Chapter’s Vice President of Membership. One of the highlights of the trip was a special gathering where the brothers had the opportunity to share their individual perspectives and motivations through the tradition of Creed Talk. This session not only fostered a deeper understanding among new and seasoned members but also set the tone for the upcoming semester by revisiting past achievements and setting new goals. "We truly are building something great at our chapter," expressed Cameron Jacoby. "By building up our brotherhood and continuing our commitment to lifelong civic engagement and fellowship with each new member, we strive to create a lasting impact both within our fraternity and beyond." The ski trip served as a reminder to the Mu Sigma Chapter of Phi Mu Delta that their fraternity is not only about fraternity events and social gatherings but also about the broader aspects of personal growth, academic achievement, and making a difference in the community. As the new semester commences, the brothers of Mu Sigma are energized and determined to build upon their past successes. With the renewed sense of unity and purpose gained from their ski trip, they are eager to continue their journey towards personal and collective growth.
