The Mu Xi Chapter of Phi Mu Delta, founded on April 25, 2003, at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has undertaken a service project to clean up the streets of Williamsport. The chapter's dedicated members are worked tirelessly to ensure that the community's living and commercial areas, particularly Vine Ave, are restored to their former glory. Phi Mu Delta is driven by a deeply ingrained mission to provide a positive fraternity experience for today's college man, emphasizing high personal standards in all aspects of life - morally, mentally, and spiritually. Alongside this, the organization strives to help its members live the fundamental ideals of its founders: democracy, brotherhood, and service. Through the ongoing service project, the Mu Xi Chapter aims to exhibit these principles and promote a culture of civic engagement and fellowship among its members. "We believe that Service to the community is critical. Every small act of kindness grows into a lasting impact, Making our community a better place for everyone" said Maxwell Gudeman, Vice President of Membership of the Mu Xi Chapter. "By joining forces with our fellow brothers and participating in this clean-up initiative, We can utilize their diverse skills and shared efforts to not only create stronger bonds but also to bring positive changes to the community, making it a better place for all." The January 13, 2024, clean-up project focused primarily on Vine Ave, a vibrant street that comprises homes, small businesses, and the esteemed Pennsylvania College of Technology. With its vision of redefining fraternity and promoting lifelong civic engagement and fellowship culture, Phi Mu Delta aims to impact the local community positively, inspiring the next generation of industry leaders.
